catering job

Today me and four other students from Johnson and Wales had the opportunity to cook for the commissioner of the 3rd district of i believe Miami. I learned that rich people just like poor people both aren't the most sanitary people in the world. lol, it was a sucess and im learning to work with a broader range of people.













Although the food wasn't visually appealing to me these are pics of his backyard and just how "Big" hes living it up.


p.s. : One of the first things I noticed about his kitchen was this thermometer, quick quiz: i know it may be a little hard to see but what is the problem? lol

quick fire (New world cuisine)

So today in class we were split up into seven different teams. According to your previous quiz grade you were allowed to choose a protein. Each team of two than had to come up with a protein starch a vegetable. I will post pictures later but for my group it actually prepared me for the actual industry. It showed me that i will not always take the lead on a product, it also showed me that no matter what i will have to work with individuals i don't particularly care for. New lessons come from new experiences learned and i learned something new today....



Please dont think that just because you go to a culinary school than your food is good, or looks well. Im not giving a name but this is there plate....what do you think?!!!

hey sorry for the delay

There has been many things that has been going on both on Johnson and Wales Campus and off, sorry for the delay i will try and keep this updated with both new and old works i have done. My career choice right now is mixed up, but im only a first year in my college so i have many choices left to make
